I’m watching the World Cup. They reversed Balogun’s red card. There was a segment where they were interviewing these former U.S. players about it, and they were all happy about it. The only one who was upset was Alexi Lalas. I before had thought he was kind of an airhead, but he seems to be the only one with morals who understands if this happened to another team, we would be outraged. It’s interesting. It’s kind of a test to see if the United States is okay with corruption because literally President Donald Trump called FIFA to reverse the red card, and the games are being hosted in the United States of America. And Donald Trump is good friends with the FIFA president. So it’s definitely a big bunch of corruption going on.
